Terms & Conditions

B O O K I N G S

To secure your date for a DIY picnic, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is due 7 DAYS before your scheduled pickup or delivery. We do not hold dates without a deposit. While we strive to provide your exact requested aesthetic, all items are subject to availability and will be matched to your style based on our professional judgment.

 

C H A N G E S  &  C A N C E L L A T I O N S

We do not offer refunds; however, date changes are permitted if we are notified at least 14 days in advance. Any changes to your package must also be made 14 days prior and may incur additional costs. Cancellations result in a forfeited deposit. If a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of your pickup/delivery time, full payment is required.

Note: As a DIY service, GCPUP does not book council sites on your behalf. It is the client’s responsibility to check local rules and etiquette for public spaces. Rescheduling outside of these terms requires an additional $100 booking fee.

 

C H A N G E S  I N  W E A T H E R

Weather is unpredictable. Changes due to weather can be made up to 72 hours before your hire period. As this is a DIY hire, it is your responsibility to have a backup indoor location. Our luxury pieces are designed to look just as stunning in a living room or private venue as they do by the beach.

 

H I R E  &  E Q U I P M E N T

The individual who made the booking holds full responsibility for all hired equipment. This includes:

  • Safety: You must ensure items are set up safely for your guests.

  • Handling: Our low picnic tables must be carried by a minimum of two people using correct lifting techniques. We accept no responsibility for injuries caused by the equipment.

  • Returns: All items, including tables, rugs, cushions, and tableware, must be returned cleaned and in original condition to ensure your bond is refunded.

 

O T H E R

For guests who are unable to sit on the ground: We recommend choosing a picnic location that has higher tables available. By doing this, you can set the low ground table nearby to display some of the decorations/grazing platters.
